in ancient india. the class system were divided mainly into three. vaishyas, shudhras, and kshathriyas.vaishyas were traders,shudhras were lower class or peasent group their main occupation was farming, the third os ruling class they were called kshathriyas they were the ruling class.

And Brahmans were given a high value on that time

So , Kshatriya and Brahmans were more powerful than the vaishyas and shudras so they ruled over vaishyas and shudras
