First of all,
There are four types of friction, they are
1) Static friction
2) Dynamic friction
3) Sliding friction
4) Rolling friction
1) Static Friction:
The maximum frictional force between two or more solid objects that are not moving relative to each other.
2) Dynamic Friction:
The frictional force which is effective when two surfaces in contact with each other are in relative motion with respect to each other is known as dynamic friction.
3) Sliding Friction:
The frictional force present when one body slides over the other body is known as kinetic friction or sliding friction.
4) Rolling Friction:
It is defined as the opposing force between the surface of a rolling body and the another.
And,
A moving body will experience friction if it is travelling in a medium.
But, as the object is moving with a constant velocity, it could be either moving in a vacuum or a constant force is being applied on the body in the direction of motion such that the net acceleration remains zero.
