Answer:

Let the total number of pages be x

If guru reads (3/5x) then (2/5x) is the number of pages that are still left to read.

It is given that 80 pages are still to be read

Hence,x=(2/5x)=80

x=80×5/2=400/2=200pages

Therefore,The Total number of pages is 200.

Information provided with us:

➪ Part of the book read by guru

\implies \rm\dfrac{3}{5}

Condition given in question:

➪ Guru finds that there are still 80 pages left to be read .

What we have to calculate

➪ The required total number of pages to be read

Assumption

  • ➪ Consider total number of pages be x

Then

➪ Number of pages of the book read by guru

\implies \rm\dfrac{3 \: x}{5}

So

➪ Part or pages of book left to be read

➡ Total numbers of pages - Number of pages of the book read by guru

 \rm \implies \: x-  \dfrac{3 \: x}{5}  =  \dfrac{2 \: x}{5}

Now

 \rm \implies \:  \dfrac{2 \: x}{5} \: of \: book  = 80

Calculation

 \rm \implies \: 2 \: x = 80 \times 5

 \rm \implies \: 2 \: x = 400

 \rm \implies \:  x = \dfrac{400}{2}

  \longrightarrow\bigstar \:  \:   \sf\boxed{\bold{\red{x = 200}}}\: \: \: \bigstar\\

Henceforth

➪ Thus required total number of pages to be read is

   \implies\bigstar \:  \:   \sf\boxed{\bold{\gray{200}}}\: \: \: \bigstar\\
