Reason 2 - Because when there is an earthquake and if you are living in a building you should run like anything to the ground....and if you are in a house...you should be under the table...cuz u never know if the ceiling falls then you get a hard support to cover u up

WATER FLOW DOWNWARD ON SLOP ON THE EARTH BECAUSE OF THE GRAVITATIONAL FORCE OF THE EARTH WHICH DO NOT ALLOW THE WATER TO HO UPWARDS.

DURING THE EARTH QUAKE HOUSE S OR BUILDING COLLAPSE etc.IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO PEOPLE AND HARM THEM . SO THEREFORE IF WE WOULD SIT UNDER STRONG OBJECTS LIKE TABLE AND HOLD IT FIRMLY THE WE WOULD BE SAFE
