Guys please help me i want to get the answer fast. The question is . There were 100 marbles in a bag.the red marbles were double the number of yellow marbles.the white marbles were two more in number than the red marbles. The blue marbles were 18 more than the green marbles.the green marbles were 5 more in than the yellow marbles and 7 less than the white marbles. HOW MANY MARBLES OF EACH COLOUR WERE THERE

given:total marbles = 100
         (red = r ; yellow = y ; white = w ; green = g)
           r
            y=r/2
           w = 2+r
           g = y+5 = r/2+5
           b = 18 + g = 18 + r/2 + 5

therefore,
      r+2 + r + r/2 + r/2+5 +18+r/2+5 =100
2r + 30 + 3r/2 = 100
5r + 30 = 100 * 2
5r + 30 = 200
5r = 200 - 30
5r = 170
r = 170/5
r = 34 marbles

hence, 
          red marbles = 34
          yellow marbles = 34/2 = 17 
         white marbles = 34 + 2 = 36
         green marbles = 34/2 + 5 = 22
        blue marbles = 18 + 34/2 + 5 = 40
