6. Now, the perimeter of both the rectangle and the square will be 44cm

perimeter of a square= 4a

4a = 44

a= 11 cm

area of the square= a²

= 11² = 121 cm²

now, breadth = 5cm

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b) = 44

2xl + 2x5 = 44

2xl = 44-10

l= 34/2

l= 17

area of a rectangle = l x b

now, area = 17 x 5 = 85 cm²

so, the square has the largest area by 121 - 85 = 36 cm²

7. one side of Raman's plot is 20 m, so, the area of the square will be 20 x 20=400m²

half of the plot is for hens, so, 400/2 = 200 m² is for hens

so, remaining area of plot will be 400- area of plot for hens = 400- 200 = 200 m²
