I think BlueJ cannot be used for creating any good software which can store previous things... that is, which can store the history of anything.
BlueJ is only a free environment for students just to make them known about the basic terms of Java.. however, good programs can be written in BlueJ, for example you can create programs for ..anything........for conversion of one unit to one unit, and It works with more numbers than a calculator works!
To make apps or software, you need paid environments for Java.
