guys please tell me this draw a line segment of length 8 centimetre use a ruler and compass to construct a perpendicular on a point P lying on the line segment 3 cm from one end

First of all draw a line segment measuring 8cm.
Now name the line segment at AB.
From any point of your choice, hmm let us take it as A, mark a point P which 3 cm from A i.e. AP = 3 cm
Keepinr point P as reference, draw a 90 degrees angle.
