The height of candle will fall by half due to stopage of burning of candle at the edge of centre of water

Welcome to concept of Archemedes principle...

It may be little bit thinking question.

When 2 centimetre of candle burns out ,its length becomes (2L- 2 )cm suppose its length increases by X outside the liquid.

Yr answer is b) fall at the rate of 1 centimetre per hour.
