Answer:

In this kind of Question, first we need to first draw the Free-Body Diagram of both the bodies and create the force equations.

For 4 kg Block , we can say :

F - ( F_{spring} ) = 4a \: ........(1)

For 2 kg Block , we can say :

F_{spring} = 2a \: ........(2)

Adding the 2 Equations, we get :

F = (2 + 4)a = 6a

 =  > 10 = 6a

 =  > a =  \dfrac{10}{6}

 =  > a =  \dfrac{5}{3}  \:m {s}^{ - 2}

Putting value of acceleration in 2nd equation , we get :

 \therefore \: F_{spring} = 2a

 =  >  \: F_{spring} = 2 \times ( \frac{5}{3} )

 =  >  \: F_{spring} =  \dfrac{10}{3} \: N

So final answer :

 \boxed{ \huge{ \bold{ \green{ \: F_{spring} =  \dfrac{10}{3} \: N }}}}
