Answer:

given:- AC and BD are perpendicular to CD

AC= BD

To prove:- ∆ACO is congruent to∆BDO

Proof:- in∆ACO&∆BDO

i) AC=BD[given]

ii) angle ACO=angleBDO[angles equal to 90°]

iii) angleACO=angleBOD[verically oppos. angles]

so, ∆ ACO is congruent to ∆BDO

Hence, proved.

hope it helps u

Answer:

AB is a straight line & is bisected by CD into 2 equal parts . Therefore :-

AO = BO = ✓ Proved .

-----------------------------------------------------------

Angle C = Angle D = 90° ✓ Proved .

-----------------------------------------------------------

Angle O = Angle O by VOA Proved .

-----------------------------------------------------------

So , ∆ ACO ≈ ∆ BDO . By RHS criteria .

Additional Information :-

1. RHS theorem :- In two right angle ∆ if the length of the hypotenuse and on the side of the ∆ is equal to the length of the Hypotenuse and corresponding side of the other triangle , then the two ∆ are congruent .

2. VOA :- Vertically Opposite angle .
