Question :

If A×B=B×A, then the angle between A and B is

Options :

a) 180°

b) 90°

c) 60°

d) 45°

Solution :

A×B = B×A

We know that A×B = ABsin@

we know that

Cross product is anti-commutative

A × B = - B × A

AB sin@ = BA sin( - @ )

sin@ = -sin@

2sin@ = 0

sin@ = 0

@ = 180

answer :@ = π option a
