Hello!

I am an IGCSE student, so I have no experience answering these kind of questions, but still I decided to give it a try.

I guess, that AC=BD means the length of AC is equal to that of BD. And this applies for AB=CD. Try to measure the length and show any similarities (They must be same).

I Hope this helps you :) If you have any more doubts regarding this, feel free to post a comment!

With regards,

Vishnu Vignesh

Anonymous: thnx for spending ur time writing this answer but im sure i can't write the answer like this in the exam.
vishnuvigneshvicky: Hello, IGCSE is a Curriculum brought forward by Cambridge UK. IGCSE stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education. Feel free to google about it, for more information. We have a totally new system of learning and people say that if you get a good certificate in A Level (12th Grade) it will be easy for you to get into any University and that's what I am aiming for!
vishnuvigneshvicky: Jerom, as I told earlier, I am not experienced in these kind of questions :(
Anonymous: its ok but thnx a lot for ur time. :)

Hope it is the question u wanted to know!!...

Given, AC = BD

Now,

AC - BC = AB ........(i)

similarly,

BD - BC = CD ........(ii)

from equation I and II we have,

AB = CD [ since AC = BD ]
Hence proved!!

\textbf{Thanks!}
