let the angles be x and 180-x(since supplementary)
ATQ:
x-44=180-x
2x=224
x=112 degree.
done.

let the smaller angle be x
thus the according to the question the larger angle will be x + 44
As two angles are supplementary so their sum is equal to 180 degree
so
x + x +44 = 180
2x = 180 - 44
x = 136/2
x=68
so the smaller angle is 68 degree
thus larger angle will be x + 44
= 68 + 44 = 112
