Solution

Given :-

  • 3^x = 9^y = 27^z = 81

Find :-

  • Value of x, y & z

Explanation

First we take , first and last part

==> 3^x = 81

==> 3^x = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3

==>3^x = 3⁴

We know,

  • if a^m = a^n then, n = m

==> x = 4 .

again, take second and last terms

==> 9^y = 81

==> 9^y = 9 × 9

==> 9^y = 9²

We know,

  • if a^m = a^n then, n = m

==> y = 2

Again, take third & last terms

==> 27^z = 81

==> ( 3 × 3 × 3)^z = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3

==> 3^(3z) = 3⁴

We know,

  • if a^m = a^n then, n = m

So,

==> 3z = 4

==> z = 4/3

Hence

  • Value of x = 4
  • Value of y = 2
  • Value of z = 4/3
