Answer:

let the no.s be x, x+2

x + ( x + 2 ) = 56

2x + 2 = 56

2x = 56 - 2 = 54

x = 54/2 = 27

x = 27

So, the other no. = x+ 2 = 27 + 2 = 29

So, the numbers are 27 and 29

Hey mate!

Here is your answer;

Let the smaller odd number to be × , then the next consecutive odd number will be

x + 2

( consecutive odd numbers differ by 2)

then according to the question,

x + x + 2 = 56

2x=56 - 2= 54

x = 27

x + 2= 29

The numbers are 27 and 29.

I hope it helps you.....

Crack your exam well

All the best!

peace ✌
