Clearly it is class 5-7.

The class length is 2.

We can find mode by formula,

m = l +(\frac{f_1 -f_0}{2f_1 - f_0 - f_1}) h.

Here, m is mode,

         l is lower limit of modal class,

         f₁ is frequency of modal class,

         f₀ is frequency of the class before(preceding) modal class,

         f₂ is frequency of the class after(succeeding) modal class,

         h is length of class.

In this case l = 5,

                   f₁ = 8,

                   f₀ = 2,

                   f₂ = 2,

                   h = 2.

Hence, m = 5+(\frac{8-2}{16-2-2})2

m = 5 + (6/12) x 2

m = 5 + 1

m = 6.

Hence mode is 6.
