Differences between atrium and ventricle are as follows:

(1) Atrium are the smaller upper chamber while ventricle are the lower larger chamber of the heart.

(2) Main difference between atrium and ventricle is that atrium receive blood into the heart whereas ventricle pushes blood outside the heart.

(3) Atrium consist of a thin wall and ventricle consist of a thick wall.

(4) Atrium consist of a SA node and pace maker cells that conforms the contraction of the heart muscles while ventricle consist of purkinje fibres that gives rise to premature ventricular contractions.

Thank you.

Answer:

hey dear your answer is here

Explanation:

1. The atria stand for the upper chambers of the heart,

while the ventricles are the lower chambers.

2. Atria act as receptors of deoxygenated blood, while ventricles receive blood from the left atria and force it into the aorta.

3. Atria have strictly to do with the inner chambers of the heart,

while ventricles may even refer to the interconnected brain cavities.

4. The walls of the atria are thinner with low blood pressure,

while those of the ventricles are thicker with high blood pressure.

Hope it helps you
