Thanks for an interesting question.

Available Indian currency notes = 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 2000

We need to calculate H.C.F. of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 2000

Prime factors of 5 = 5

Prime factor of 10 = 2*5

Prime factor of 20 = 2*2*5

Prime factor of 50 = 2*5*5

Prime factor of 100 = 2*2*5*5

Prime factor of 500 = 2*2*5*5*5

Prime factor of 2000 = 2*2*2*2*5*5*5

So, in above all solution, 5 is the only common factor.

Therefore, H.C.F. of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 2000 is 5.

Hope it helps!!!

Question:

H.C.F.of all Indian Currency Notes

Answer:

Indian Currency Notes = Rs.5 Rs.10 Rs.20 Rs.50 Rs.100 Rs.200 Rs.500 Rs.2000

● To Find The HCF Of an Value Need to Find The prime Factors Of The term

(Prime Factor Is The number Being Divided only By self and By the Coprime number 1 )

Prime Factor of 5 = 5

Prime Factor of 10 = 2 × 5

Prime Factor of 20 = 2 × 2 × 5

Prime Factor of 50 = 2 × 5 × 5

Prime Factor of 100 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 5

Prine Factor of 200 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 5

Prime Factor of 500 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 5 × 5

Prine Factor of 2000 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 5 × 5

( NOTE : HCF is The value which have a highest common factor in all the given values of prime factors. So The HCF should be common in all the given terms )

Hence,

5 is The HCF of Indian Currency
