- The initial velocity of balloon in upward direction be u
So,
- The initial velocity of stone in upward direction is also u that is ᵘ1 = - u
- Acceleration due to gravity of the stone a = g = 9.8 m/s²
- Time taken (t) = 10 sec
( taking downward direction to be positive )
- the velocity of the balloon at the instant , when the stone was dropped is 19m /sec
