Hi ,


Given polynomial p(x) = ax


a ≠ 0 , a, b € R


It is linear polynomial in one


variable x . So , it has only one


Zero.


To find zero of p(x ) ,


Take p(x) = 0


=> ax = 0


x = 0/a


x = 0


Therefore ,


Zero of p(x) is 0
