As we can see that,

there are 2 hydrogen atom and two oxygen atom in reactant side and Two hydrogen atom in product side.

So,

We will have to balance both the reactant and product.

H2 + O2 => H2O

4H2 + 2O2 => 4H2O




2H2 + O2 => 2H2O
