Explanation:

above one is the balanced equation.

H2 + O2➡ H2O

Firstly oxygen is not balanced [ on reactant side there are 2 molecule of oxygen while on product side only 1 molecule of oxygen ]We balance it by multiplying by 2 on product side

H2+O2==》2H2O

which results in imbalance in hydrogen molecules[reactant side=2 hydrogen molecules, product side=4hydrogen molecules]

Therefore multiply H2 by 2 (2H2).

The resulting equation is balanced.

*2H2+O2==》2H2O*
