H2O2 on reaction with ethylene gives acetaldehyde.

● Explaination -
- Ethylene on treatment with alk. H2O2 gives acetaldehyde.
CH2=CH2 + H2O2 --> CH3-CHO + H2O

- On further reaction, acetaldehyde gets converted to acetic acid.
CH3-CHO + H2O2 --> CH3-COOH + H2O2

* H2O2 acts as strong oxidizing agent.
