In H2S the oxidation no. Of Sulphur is Sulphur is -2 and that of Br2 the oxidation no. Of Br is zero ...while in right hand side oxidation no. Of Sulphur is zero while oxidation no. Of bromine in HBr is -1..thus given reaction is oxidation reaction
