Answer:

Habitat change refers to change in external conditions sorrounding where an organism lives. It is FALSE that it occurs more due to natural causes than human activity.

Explanation:Habitat change occurs mainly due to human activity because people initiate many habitat changes through some of the following ways;

1. Urbanization, this is the destruction of green vegetation cover to create cities and towns or even homes to settle in.

2. Poor agricultural methods such as mono cropping leading to loss of soil fertility and use of fertilizers leading to changes in soil composition.

3. Industrialization which is creation of industries which release fumes into the air that damage the ozone layer leading to green house effect and also these industries tend to dispose their fumes into the water bodies around and therefore affecting water bodies too.

Answer:

There is no clear answer for this question.It can be either true or false.

Explanation:

Habitat change can occur either through natural causes or through human activity. Examples of habitat change from natural causes would be a volcano, a tsunami, a hurricane or an earthquake.All these cause the displacement of species. On the flip side,human activity may also cause a change of habitat. Human activities such bomb testing, deforestation, mining and agricultural activities all interfere with the natural balance of an ecosystem.
