Had nikhil been born after 7 years,his present age of Abby and had nikhil been born after 2 years ,his present age would have been equal to Abby's age 23 years hence .what is Abby's present age?

Let the age of Nikhil be x years and age of Abby be y years.
According to question. ..
X+7=y......(1)
X+2= 23-y........ (2)

X+2=23-(x+7).........using equation 1
X+2= 23-x-7
X+2=16-x
X+x=16-2
2x= 14
X= 7....put in equation 1
7+7==14
Hence; Abby's present age id 14 years..
