Answer and Explanation:

  • The troubles that Hakim Sheik faced, according to the Court, could have cost him his life. If a person cannot receive timely medical treatment from a hospital, that person's life is not being protected.
  • The Court also stated that it was the government's responsibility to provide the necessary health services, including emergency treatment. Hospitals and medical personnel are responsible for delivering the appropriate therapy.
  • The State Government was ordered by the Court to reimburse Hakim Sheik for the money he spent on treatment after he was denied care at several government institutions.
  • According to our Constitution, the government's principal responsibility is to ensure the welfare of the people and to provide health-care services. The Indian Constitution not only provides for people's health care, but also directs the government to take steps to improve people's healthcare.
