And 30 minutes ago = 120 - x - 30
= 90 - x
Now, using 4 times as many minutes past 5 PM, we can form the equation.
⇒ 90 - x = 4x
⇒ 90 = 4x + x
⇒ 90 = 5x
⇒ x = 90/5
