Given

Half Perimeter of a rectangular garden =36m

Length is 4m more than it's width

Let width=x

Then Length = x+4

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Half Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)/2

=L+B

So

(X+4)+x =36

2x+4=36

2x=36-4

2x=32

X=32/2

X=16m

Hence

Width =16m

Length =16+4=20m

This is ur ans hope it will help you in case of any doubt comment below

let the width be x
let the length be x+4
A.S.P
2[x+(x+4)]=36*2
2(2x+4)=72
4x+8=72
4x=72-8
4x=64
x=64/4
x=16
therefore,width=16
                 length=16+4
                           =20
