Answer:

half perimeter of rectangle = (l+b)

given, l = 4+b

=> 36 = (4+b+b)

=> 36 = 4+2b

=> b = 16m

therefore length = 16+4 = 20m

Answer:

let the breadth be x,

so, length = 4+xm

breadth = x

so, perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(4+x+x) = 2(36)m

= 2(4+2x) = 72m

= 8 +4x = 72m

= 4x = 72 -8m

= x = 64/4

since, x = 16

so, length = x +4 = 16+4 = 20m

breadth = x = 16m
