We know that perimeter is length x breadth
Let length = L and breadth = b
So
Perimeter/2=2(L+b)/2
Rest you can refer from the picture

Answer:

hey mate here is your answer.....

Step-by-step explanation:

▶️ Let the length of rectangle = x m

Width of rectangle = y m

☑️ According to the question, x - y = 4 ( eq.1)

  • So x = 4 + y
  • y + x = 36 ( eq.2)

➡️ Substituting the value of x in eq.2 we get

  • y + ( 4 + y ) = 36
  • 2y = 36 - 4
  • y = 16

☑️ Therefore the length and width of given garden is 20m and 16 m respectively.

Hope it helps!☺️
