Answer:

Length:26m

Breath:20 m

step by step solution: Perimeter of rectangular room = 2(l+b)

Let x metres be the breadth

And length be x + 6 metres

1/2*2(x + 6 + x) = 46 metres

2x + 6 = 46

2x = 40

x = 20

Breadth = 20 metres

Length = x + 6 = 20 + 6 = 26 metres

Let the length be x+6 and Breadth be x m

Now, given

l+b=46

=>x+x+6=46

=>2x=40

=>x=20

So, the length and Breadth of room are 26m and 20 m Respectively.
