I beg to inform you that I have a high fever for past two days. I ate something unhealthy which disturbed my stomach and caused severe food poisoning which led me to high temperature and agitation. I have not been able to get up and do anything by my own self. It is causing severe headache and weakness. I am taking proper medication to recover from sudden temperature. The medicines doctor prescribed me are of high dosage, which makes me tired and drowsy. It is possible that it will take more two days to recuperate. I have to take a leave for two more days to get into better health and commence my work again. I will attach the prescription with the leave for assurance.
Therefore, it is my humble request to you to consider my situation and grant me leave for two more days. I shall be very thankful.
