It is only Physical beauty. In most cases it is the result of make-up. Behind attractive appearance is hidden an ugly face. This beauty is skin-deep. It is short-lived. It is not natural. Nor is it of much worth. Handsome is he who does handsome deeds. He who has good character, noble nature and high thoughts is in reality handsome. Appearances do not make man handsome. A man may have a smiling face yet he may be a wicked person at heart. A goodly apple may be a rotten inside. In history, we come across many such persons as did not possess physical beauty but they were men of principles. They lived and died for certain ideals. They gave their lives for the welfare of mankind. Their thoughts and actions have immortalized them. They have become household names. They are remembered for their supreme sacrifices and selfless actions. They are regarded as handsome because handsome is that handsome does.
