( 10000 is used for reparing so it is add to cp then 40000+10000 =50000)
then cp = 50000
profit =10%
S P= ?
SP = 100 + profit % ÷ 100×cp
SP = 100 +10% ÷ 100 ×50000
sp = 110 ÷100 × 50000= 55000
he sell 55000 to get the profit 10%
