Step-by-step explanation:

total milk = 11/2 L

used = 4/5 of total

 \frac{4}{5}  \times  \frac{11}{2}

 \frac{2}{5}  \times 11

22/5 L is used..

now.. remaining milk = 11/2- 22/5 = 55-44/10 = 1L

so given to frnd = 1/3 of remaining

= 1/3 * 1 L

1/3 is given

milk left is = 1L - 1/3 = 3-1 / 3 = 2/3 L

so answers = he used = 22/5 L

he left with = 2/3 L

Answer:

o

total milk = 11/2 L

used = 4/5 of total

\frac{4}{5} \times \frac{11}{2}

5

4

×

2

11

\frac{2}{5} \times 11

5

2

×11

22/5 L is used..

now.. remaining milk = 11/2- 22/5 = 55-44/10 = 1L

so given to frnd = 1/3 of remaining

= 1/3 * 1 L

1/3 is given

milk left is = 1L - 1/3 = 3-1 / 3 = 2/3 L

so answers = he used = 22/5 L

he left with = 2/3 L
