Length of the cake                    = 60 cm

Part of cake Hari gave to Raja  = 1/2 of 60

                                             ie   =  30 cm

Part of cake left with Hari          =  60-30

                                                    = 30 cm

He gives Gopal 1/4th of what is left = 1/4*30 = 7.5

Now left = 30-7.5 = 22.5

Now part of cake he gave Sahil = x,

So, as per question:

22.5-x=1/10*60

=> x=16.5 cm is required.
