Hari purchased a moile phone for Rs15120 inclusive of 12%of GST . What is the original price of this mobile?

Let the price of the mobile phone without including G.S.T = Rs x
Tax charged on it = 12%
Tax to be paid = 12% of x
                         = 12/100 * x
                         = Rs 3x/25
Price of mobile with G.S.T = Rs x + Rx 3x/25
                                            = (25x + 3x )/ 25
                                            = Rs 28x/25

Given the price of mobile with G.S.T = Rs 15120
Therefore
28x/25 = 15120
28x = 15120*25
x = 15120*25/28
x = Rs 13500

The original price of mobile = Rs 13500
