Answer:
Hari singh could have lived like a rich Arab but still he chose to go back to Anil
this was actually the consequence to opt for education. It made him believe the need for respect in the society for him and the necessity to get civilize with the society. There can be other ways to earn money rather than stealing it. So he decided to give up robing and be a good citizen.
other reason could be that he was sympathetic to Anil when he would discover the theft his face would be a touch of sadness not for losing money but for losing trust then after Anil would never trust anyone. despite of being a successful hand at robing he was unable to catch his train. Because of obstruction of his own thoughts for Anil. After the train had left the station he was left alone in a deserted railway. The only person he knew was Anil who was robbed by him.
he even memorized the Anil's trust towards him Anil had given him the key he could go and come as he pleased. he had meet no one who trusted him like Anil did so he didn't wanted to break his trust
these all factors made him go back to Anil and live a normal life by giving up stealing and regain the honorable freedom from the human society
i help this will help :)
Hari could have like a rich Arab for a week or two but then his mind came to an new world for him which was honesty and trust. Anil who helped Hari to read, cook and gave a place better than the heaven which was a home, this all deeds of Anil made an impact on the Hari thoughts and for the trust of Anil he went back to Anil.
