Hari Singh didn't confess that he wrote Anil. Did he lakh the courage to do so or he really wanted to maintain his relationship with Anil at any cost? Explain the values had needed toimbibe in about 100 to 120 words.

If he had wanted, Hari could have run off with the money by catching the Lucknow Express. But a voice inside him stopped him from doing so. He thought about the innocent face of Anil and decided to go and put the notes back under the mattress. This shows that having a friend like Anil was very important to him. Still, he did not have the courage to confess because he didn't want Anil to break the trust he had in him before. Hari had felt guilt upon robbing Anil, showing that he had good in him but still had to improve. He should have confessed to Anil so as to build a better range of understanding between the two of them. Anil was also a large-hearted person because even though he knew that Hari had robbed him, he didn't say a word but gave him his salary.
