He was a thief by his profession. He used to steal people by deluding them. But he was also a kind person by his kind heart. He stole Anil's money but when he ran away and reached at the station he realized his mistake and began to repent. Then he came back to Anil and placed the money in its previous place. This shows he was a human also. He realized that how can he steal his friend's money who helped him so much, gave him work for his living. That's why we can say that he was also a true person.

Hari Singh was a thief by profession. He used to play with peoples mind and make them to trust him enough to leave him with their belongings blindly. That gave him a chance to steal and run. He was very cruel and never thought of what the other person might have to suffer.

When he was living with Anil, he had a change of heart. Anil gave him a place to live, food to eat and job to support himself. Hari was going according to his plan and building unconditional trust with Anil. One day when Hari had the chance, he left with Anil's belongings as per planned. But while he was at the station leaving, he felt a touch of humanity in his heart.

He felt gracious that Anil helped him with so much and thought it wrong to treat him like he was. So he decided to go back and put everything back in its place.
