as the plastic articles are non degradable,hey must be treated differently.many plastics that contain chemicals mix with water and many people drink that to get many diseases and disorders.marine animals choke plastic in them and die.it cause many pollution in  the environment too.Some marine species, such as sea turtles, have been found to contain large proportions of plastics in their stomach this shows that how much the marine animals are affected.
and for useful effects,it is very cheap ,durable,easily available and as it is light in weight,it can be easy for transportation and also its perfectly suitable to get many things fr anywhere.

Plastic are often disposed off by burning and this releases poisonous gases into the atmosphere and pollutes the air we breathe.
