Harmful effects of-:
CO(carbon dioxide)-: Very poisonous gas. Reduces oxygen carrying capacity of blood thus leading to suffocation and death.
Smog-: Causes breathing difficulties like asthma, cough, wheezing in children.
CFC-: Harms the ozone layer.
Acid rain-: Makes soil acidic and cause yellowing of marble.
SO2-: Causes acid rain, respiratory problems including permanent lung damage.
SPM-: Reduces visibility.
Global warming-: Rise in temperature. Melting of ice at poles. Rise in sea level that leads to floods. Wide range effect in rainfall pattern,climate,forests,agriculture and living organisms.
