Have read that most elected members whether in the panchayat, or the vidhan sabha

Answer:

Most elected members whether in panchayat or Vidhan Sabha or the Parliament are elected for a fixed period of 5 years because they are representatives of people. it may be not sure that they would be honest to their duty and will work for people. people can choose any other representative after 5 years if the work of previous when is not good. is representatives are elected for whole life then this may be chances that he takes decision opposite to the peoples benefit and do what you want.

Early legislatures under the British government did not allow for all adults to vote nor could people participate in decision making.

The nationalists were thought that all persons in independent India would be able to participate in making decisions.

So the Constitution of independent Indiathat laid down the principle of universal adult franchise, i.e. that all adult citizens of the country have the right to vote.

Becauze it is mentioned in our democracy that a oerson can control the power dor only 5 hears and then after years he was again win the election so they can rule once again for 5 years this rule was applied to giving the opportunity to evryone and giving right to the public to select her fav leader in every 5 years

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT!!
