Answer:

As a musician I got into the habit of analysing everything and looking for flaws. Then my mind is always re-inventing everything to make it better. So the answer is yes. I always reflect on my actions and see how I can improve myself. There's always room for improvement. I also need to be honest with myself about my weaknesses and indulgences. This definitely helps me to live my life in a more efficient manner.

Reflected on my actions is how I learn from what I experience. But there's more. When I reflect on my actions and relive unpleasant emotions, it feels like something is released. It's like I let the negative energy go. After one of these intense emotional reflections I actually feel light and playful.

Reflecting on my actions has been beneficial to me. It even seems to have a way of minimizing emotional damage. By inventorying the damage done I can immediately begin with repairs and a plan to make myself more resilient.

As beings of reason we have to reflect on our actions. Sometimes it takes more than instinct to be reasonable. Sometimes reason requires a time of reflection and study.
