Essay- How My Actions Changed the Life of Another Person!
Explanation:
When I was in the fifth standard both my parents were working. Since they were busy with work they could not take care of me due to the long working hours. To solve the problem they hired a house help. She was thirty-two years old, she had a daughter who was my age. When I came back from school she helped me with everything. She used to cook for me, change clothes for me and at times also helped me with my homework. I really liked her. After a few days of work, she started to bring her daughter too. She told my mother that her husband was ill and there was no one to take care of the little girl.
My mother allowed her to bring her daughter to our home. Her name was Rani, soon we became friends. Rani and I liked the same things. Both of us loved reading, we liked playing badminton and studied together. We both were in different schools but in the same class. We often read out stories to each other. One day Rani's mother had to go to the hospital as her husband was ill. Rani, I and my father were at home. We were playing outside when Rani suddenly twisted her leg. She started crying. I did not know what to do. She was in a pathetic condition. I tried to make her stand, but she could not get up. I tied a cloth around her leg and ran to call my father. He came running, he looked at her leg and said that she had fractured it. We took her to the hospital a plaster was set. We came back home, but no-one was there to look after her as her mother was in the hospital with her father.
My parents were worried, then I offered to help them. I assured them that I would take care of Rani. My parents supported my decision. My parents took leave for some days. They also helped me. Eventually, Rani got better and her mother was also back.
Now both Rani and I are sixteen. She is a zonal level athlete. She often thanks me for helping her when she was ill. While I was nursing her I never felt that she's going to be an athlete. I just helped my friend. Now when I look back I feel so happy and satisfied. This event truly changed me, now I help people whenever I can.
