Having guts then solve it who will solve first get branliest answer tag:a balloon start ascending upward with a velocity of 10 m per second when it has reached a height of 40 m above the ground a packet of 2 kg is dropped from it Find time after which strikes the ground.

the velocity of packet when dropped =10mps
first it will go upwards so time for upward motion=2u/g=2sec
now it is at the height of 40 metre
so time taken to travel 40 metre=
40 = 10t + 5 {t}^{2} \\ 2t + {t}^{2} = 8 \\ {t}^{2} + 2t - 8 = 0 \\ solving \: equation \\ t = 2sec
so total time taken to reach ground=2+2=4 seconds
I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU
#I HAVE GUTS

divsaraswat1p7owmi: Make me understand clearly in order to get tag
champion360: mark it as brainliest
divsaraswat1p7owmi: Why it will go upward
champion360: because its initial motion was in upward direction so it will continue to go in upward direction unitil the velocity is zero
divsaraswat1p7owmi: Ok
champion360: put a thanx also dear friend
