It can be 1 ...2 consecutive numbers,,, 3 consecutive numbers... and so on..
It can be odd, even,,prime etc..
So give what to suppose in this conditions...

Take consecutive numbers to be
X-1 , x , and x+1
Once you find the value of x keep it in the condition you have taken
To find even consecutive no.s
Take 2x-2,2x and 2x+2
Similarly with odd,prime , multiple of 8 etc.
