our body has chromosomes . there are 23 pairs of chromosomes. these are present in the nuclei (inside nucleus) of a cell . out of 23 pairs two chromosomes are sex chromosomes which are X and Y. females have 2 X chromosomes whereas male have 1 X and 1Y chromosome . when the X chromosome of male fuses with X chromosome of female the result is a girl. if the Y chromosome fuses with female X chromosome than a boy is the result
